On this day 4 years ago I had a so called “friend” come into my home (invited) where we had take out for dinner, shared drinks and took part in a virtual wreath making class. It really was a fun evening. Just a few short weeks after, this same friend told me that my daughters abuser needed to throw his electronics into the ocean so police couldn't get access.
You may wonder why anyone would feel that way, it is disgusting. They felt this way because it was all about them! What were THEY going to do without a coach for THEIR child. THEIR world was falling apart and THEY needed to ensure THEIR wants were met. AT ANY COST! I didn't matter. My child did not matter. Nor did any other child who had suffered at the hands of this abuser. It was all ME ME ME! That is a sad truth about people.
Friends should have your back. They should be there to lift you up when you are down. They support you and stand by your side through he tough times. Friends should be selfless NOT selfish!
She was not a friend! I was deceived.
People often wonder why I am isolated, why I have no friends, why I trust no one and why I hate people. This is a prime example of why. There are many more similar stories that goes along with that time in my life. It is painful and it hurts.
